Here is what to expect from your very first visit:

Upon arrival our friendly reception team will welcome you. They will enter your details onto our software and ask you to complete a confidential medical history form. If you're an NHS patient you will be asked to complete an NHS consent form. If you receive an exemption from dental charges you will be asked to provide evidence. You will not be required to transfer dental records from a previous practice.

You will then meet your dentist and dental nurse.
Your dentist will make you feel at ease and listen to your dental needs. They will enquire about your previous dental history and carry out a full examination of your teeth, soft tissues and an oral cancer check. They may also take x-rays.

If you have been booked in for an emergency appointment the dentist will deal with your primary concern and likely rebook you for a full examination.
​
​A treatment plan will be created and discussed with yourself and costing explained.
