Anti-wrinkle treatment (Botulinum toxin) is the most requested anti-ageing cosmetic treatment for both men and women. Fine lines, crow’s feet and forehead wrinkles are a natural part of the ageing process, but now thanks to anti-wrinkle treatments you can reduce the appearance of them to achieve a natural more youthful look. The most treated areas are: Vertical lines between the eyebrows, horizontal lines across the forehead smile & bunny lines. Anti-wrinkle treatment can also be used to create an eyebrow lift.

While primarily anti-wrinkle treatment (Botulinum toxin) is used to treat the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, it can also be used to treat other areas.

Here is how it works:

Once injected into the skin the botulinum toxin relaxes the tiny facial muscles, which cause expression lines, by blocking the nerve impulses in them, leaving the skin looking smoother.
Areas on the face that can be treated include frown lines (vertical lines which form between the eyebrows), eyebrows, crow's feet, forehead lines and lines around the mouth and top lip, known as 'smoker's lines'.
The injection is quick and painless, usually lasting around 5-10 minutes and requiring no anaesthetic. Results will usually be seen in a few days, sometimes taking between 4-7 days for the effects to be seen.

As this is not a permanent treatment, the effects will wear off over time. It is therefore possible for the procedure to be repeated every 3 months for effective results.

This can be treated quickly and effectively with anti wrinkle treatment (botulinum toxin). It works by relaxing the muscles in the upper lip when smiling allowing the gum to remain covered, helping create a more natural smile. A consultation is required to ensure this is the correct treatment for you, alternative dental treatments are available to help improve gummy smiles if they are not caused by an overactive muscle.
